Performance Services, a well established Indiana based design build and energy efficiency consulting and retrofit firm acted as the developer on the project for Union City and Randolph Eastern School Corporation. Sometimes the road for public institutions is not clear how to go from school board or town meeting where a green energy initiative is first discussed through to a completed project.It is important for public entities to find a developer experienced both in the processes of public projects and motivated to help these public groups develop a green energy strategy.Performance Services has worked to understand the benefits of local generation along with the needs of the schools they work with to develop a compelling strategy for developing projects that builds on their existing relationships.

The initial and lifetime value of a project can be difficult to understand for many of the school board members or citizens and the combined work of Performance Services and Nordic Windpower have been to help these people and their constituents understand and get behind a project to improve the energy usage and carbon foot print of their community.
