
Known for being one of the more environmentally progressive bases in the US military, Ft Huachuca has won many awards for its efforts to become energy independent and reduce its impact on the environment and now is proudly the future home of a Nordic N1000. The Army Corp of Engineers, through the GSA selection process, considered a number of turbines ranging in size and design type and accepted a proposal by ECO and Associates for the installation of a single N1000 on Ft. Huachuca in Sierra Vista, AZ. ECO and Associates is an experienced GSA developer having done many construction and infrastructure projects for various government organizations including large recent projects with the Army Corp of Engineers and US Customs and Border Patrol.
